Mirchi Bajji
Ingredients
200 grams of green chilies
1 cup of chickpea flour
100 grams of rice
2 teaspoons of ground chili
1 teaspoon of turmeric
1 teaspoon of asafoetida
1 teaspoon of carambola seeds
1 teaspoon of baking soda
1 teaspoon of salt
1 cup of water
1 teaspoon of cumin
1 teaspoon of salt
2 tablespoons of lemon juice
1 onion
2 tablespoons of chopped cilantro
1 teaspoon of chaat masala
1 teaspoon of lemon juice
1 teaspoon of salt
1 cup of oil
Preparation
Step 1 : To prepare this recipe, first wash and dry the green chilies, then open one side of the chilies and carefully remove the seeds.
Step 2 : In a small bowl, mix cumin, one tablespoon of salt, and lemon juice to form a paste, which will be used to fill the chilies.
Step 3 : Next, in another bowl, combine the flours, add ground chili, turmeric, asafoetida, carambola seeds, baking soda, and salt.
Step 4 : Gradually add one cup of water until a thick batter is obtained.
Step 5 : For the sauce, mix chopped onion, chopped cilantro, ground chili, chaat masala powder, salt, and lemon juice.
Step 6 : In a pan with hot oil, dip the stuffed chilies into the batter and fry until golden brown.
Step 7 : Finally, place on paper towels and serve with the previously prepared sauce.
