1 tablespoon of oil
2 cups of cooked and crushed rice
1 teaspoon of sugar
1 teaspoon of mustard seeds
1 green chili
1 onion
1 potato cut into cubes
100 grams of curry leaves
1 teaspoon of turmeric
4 curry leaves
1 tablespoon of salt
1 tablespoon of chopped cilantro
1 lemon
150 grams of grated coconut
1 teaspoon of asafoetida
Preparation
Step 1 : To prepare this delicious dish, start by boiling the potatoes in water, then drain and set aside.
Step 2 : In a saucepan, heat oil and add the mustard seeds.
Step 3 : Next, add the potatoes and asafoetida, followed by the green chili and chopped onions.
Step 4 : Cook everything for another two or three minutes.
Step 5 : Add the curry leaves, spices, sugar, and mix well in the pan.
Step 6 : Continue cooking for an additional two minutes, until the potatoes are tender.
Step 7 : Then, add salt, turmeric, curry powder, garam masala, chili, and garlic powder, followed by the rice.
