Ingredients

1 cup of sugar

3 saffron threads

3 green cardamom

200 milliliters of water

1 cup of oil

2 tablespoons of flour

200 grams of urad dal

Preparation

Step 1 : The first step is to grind the green cardamom and set it aside for later.

Step 2 : Next, heat a skillet over medium heat and add the sugar and water, cooking until the sugar is completely dissolved.

Step 3 : At that point, add the powdered cardamom and saffron threads, mix well, and remove from heat to set aside.

Step 4 : The next step is to place the urad dal in a bowl and cover it with water, letting it soak for 2 to 3 hours.

Step 5 : Then, drain the urad dal and process it together with the flour until you get a smooth paste.

Step 6 : This paste is placed in a piping bag.

Step 7 : To continue, heat butter in a skillet and pipe the paste in the shape of imartis, ensuring they have even shapes.

Step 8 : Fry until golden, remove, drain excess butter, and pass them through the reserved syrup.

Step 9 : This way, they will be ready to serve and enjoy.
