Ingredients
1 kilogram of chicken
1 cup of chopped tomatoes
1 chopped onion
2 tablespoons of chopped garlic
1 teaspoon of salt
1 cup of oil for frying
2 tablespoons of grated ginger
1 teaspoon of ground chili
1 teaspoon of turmeric
1 teaspoon of cumin
2 teaspoons of chopped cilantro
1 teaspoon of coriander powder
Preparation
Step 1 : In a skillet, heat two tablespoons of oil over high heat.
Step 2 : Then, sauté the chopped onion and garlic without letting them burn.
Step 3 : Meanwhile, chop the chicken and season with salt, pepper, ground chili, and turmeric, then add it to the skillet.
Step 4 : Cook the chicken for 10 minutes, turning occasionally to ensure even cooking.
Step 5 : After this, add the tomatoes, cover the skillet, and cook over low heat for 20 minutes.
Step 6 : When uncovering the skillet, continue cooking for an additional 10 minutes.
Step 7 : Then, add the ginger, coriander powder, and cumin, cooking for another 5 minutes.
