Ingredients

2 cups of butter

2 red onions

2 cups of yogurt

2 kilograms of lamb in pieces

3 bay leaves

4 green cardamom pods

2 cinnamon sticks

3 tablespoons of ground chili

1 teaspoon of turmeric

1 teaspoon of coriander powder

1 teaspoon of garlic paste

1 teaspoon of grated ginger

1 teaspoon of salt

Preparation

Step 1 : In a preheated skillet, place the butter over medium heat.

Step 2 : Add the bay leaves, cardamom, and cinnamon.

Step 3 : Add the chopped onions and sauté until golden.

Step 4 : Then, add the lamb and cook until browned all over.

Step 5 : In a separate bowl, mix yogurt, chili, turmeric, and ground coriander.

Step 6 : Add the garlic and ginger paste, season with salt, and stir this mixture into the lamb, mixing well.

Step 7 : Cook on low heat for approximately an hour and a half.

Step 8 : To serve, sprinkle chopped cilantro on top.
