Ingredients

85 grams of flour

1 teaspoon of chickpea flour

1 teaspoon of dry yeast

100 milliliters of lukewarm water

120 grams of sugar

1 tablespoon of oil

100 milliliters of oil for frying

1 cup of water

1 teaspoon of ground cardamom

1 teaspoon of saffron

1 teaspoon of lemon juice

Preparation

Step 1 : In a bowl, place the wheat flour and chickpea flour.

Step 2 : Next, add the yeast and oil and stir until both ingredients are incorporated, forming a liquid paste.

Step 3 : Add water to the mixture and fill a piping bag with a nozzle.

Step 4 : In another container, mix 120 grams of sugar with water, a little ground cardamom, saffron, and lemon juice.

Step 5 : Cook this mixture until the sugar is completely dissolved.

Step 6 : Heat oil in a skillet and pipe the yalebi dough into knots of similar size.

Step 7 : Fry until evenly cooked.
