500 milliliters of water

2 cups of sugar

3 cardamoms

2 cinnamon sticks

3 star anise

1 teaspoon of saffron

3 tablespoons of self-raising flour

2 tablespoons of powdered milk

125 grams of creamy cheese

12 raisins

1 cup of oil for frying

1 cup of wheat flour

1 teaspoon of rosewater

Preparation

Step 1 : To prepare these delicious raisin fritters, start by mixing water with sugar and spices in a pot.

Step 2 : Heat the mixture until the sugar completely dissolves.

Step 3 : Then, turn the heat to maximum and let it boil for five minutes without stirring.

Step 4 : Remove from heat and add rosewater and saffron, then let the mixture cool.

Step 5 : In a separate bowl, form a dough by combining flour, powdered milk, and creamy cheese.

Step 6 : Knead for five minutes and divide into equal portions.

Step 7 : Use each portion to wrap the raisins.

Step 8 : Heat oil in a skillet and fry the filled dough balls until golden.

Step 9 : Then, place them on a plate with paper towels to remove excess oil.
