Washed, drained, and roughly chopped rose petals.
Mix fennel seeds with cardamom and a bit of sugar.
In a glass jar, place a layer of petals at the bottom and cover with sugar, repeating the process until the jar is full.
Close the jar and leave it in the sunlight for a week.
Every two days, stir the contents with a spoon.
After this period, keep it tightly sealed in the refrigerator and it can be used as a spread on bread or in other recipes.
