1 cup of peas

3 onions

5 garlic cloves

2 green chilies

1 tablespoon of fresh grated ginger

2 tomatoes

1 teaspoon of spicy ground chili

1 teaspoon of coriander powder

1 teaspoon of cumin powder

1 teaspoon of turmeric powder

1 teaspoon of garam masala

1 tablespoon of salt

1 teaspoon of cilantro leaves

6 nuts

2 tablespoons of yogurt

1 cinnamon stick

2 cardamom pods

2 cloves

1 bay leaf

2 tablespoons of oil

1 tablespoon of butter

Preparation

Step 1 : To prepare this exquisite dish, start by cooking the peas and then set them aside.

Step 2 : Next, peel the tomatoes and make a purée.

Step 3 : Leave them aside.

Step 4 : In a container, soak the cashews in warm water for 10 to 15 minutes.

Step 5 : Then, place the cashews in a blender along with the yogurt and blend until smooth and creamy.

Step 6 : In a skillet, heat a little oil over medium heat, then reduce the heat to low and add the bay leaf, cinnamon stick, cardamom, and clove.

Step 7 : When you start to smell their aroma, add the garlic and ginger.

Step 8 : Cook for one or two minutes, then add the onion paste, tomato purée, and sauté the mixture for about 5 minutes.

Step 9 : Add all the powdered spices and salt, making sure to mix everything evenly.

Step 10 : Add two tablespoons of water and continue cooking.

Step 11 : During this process, if necessary, add more water.

Step 12 : Cook for about 5 more minutes.

Step 13 : Then, add the cashew and yogurt mixture, mixing it thoroughly with the preparation.

Step 14 : Add the peas and cook for an additional 5 minutes.

Step 15 : Remove from heat and add a tablespoon of butter, stirring well.

Step 16 : Serve the dish and garnish with fresh cilantro leaves before enjoying.
