Ingredients

200 grams of yellow lentils in Indian style

700 milliliters of water

1 teaspoon of cumin

1 teaspoon of black mustard seeds

1 onion

1 teaspoon of grated ginger

2 garlic cloves

2 small chilies

1 red chili

1 teaspoon of salt

2 teaspoons of ground coriander

1 teaspoon of ground cumin

1 teaspoon of garam masala

1 teaspoon of turmeric

Preparation

Step 1 : To prepare this delicious recipe, start chopping the onion and one of the chilies, and cut the other chili in half.

Step 2 : Then, wash the lentils with water and cook them in a pot with boiling water.

Step 3 : It is important to remove the foam from the water, reduce the heat to the minimum, and let it cook for about 30 to 40 minutes until they soften and become creamy in texture.

Step 4 : In a skillet, heat oil over medium heat and add the cumin and mustard seeds, stirring for one minute until both ingredients are crispy.
