Rājmā is a traditional dish of red beans in a thick sauce, full of flavor and very nutritious. Suitable for vegetarian diets, it pairs perfectly with white rice. Its preparation requires a careful mix of spices and seasonings to achieve its delicious final result.
In a skillet, heat the oil and brown the onions.
Next, add the garlic and ginger, sautéing for a few minutes.
Add the cilantro, cumin, and chili, cooking for a few more minutes.
Then, mix in the tomato and cook for a few minutes.
Add the beans and stir well until ready.

Ingredients
1 cup of red beans
4 tablespoons of oil
2 onion
1 tablespoon of garlic paste
1 tablespoon of grated ginger
1 cup of tomato purée
1 teaspoon of cumin
1 teaspoon of ground chili
2 tablespoons of coriander powder
1 tablespoon of garam masala
1 tablespoon of chopped fresh cilantro
Preparation
Step 1 : In a skillet, heat the oil and add the chopped onions, cooking until golden.
Step 2 : Next, add the garlic paste and grated ginger, sautéing for two minutes.
Step 3 : Then, incorporate the coriander powder, cumin, and ground chili, mixing well and cooking for 5 more minutes.
Step 4 : Add the tomato purée, stir, and cook for an additional 5 minutes.
Step 5 : Then, add the red beans and blend well.
Step 6 : Add a cup of the cooking broth reserved, adjusting with salt and continue mixing.
Step 7 : With a spoon, lightly smash the beans, add the garam masala, and keep stirring, cooking for another 5 minutes.
Step 8 : Finally, serve the dish with chopped cilantro leaves on top.
